“of Water” is the first of two companion records exploring worlds beneath and beyond the surface. At turns dreamy, cavernous, and explosive, this record takes listeners on a descent through Earth’s water column, examining themes of biology, ecology, technology, and the proliferation of life throughout watery realms. As each track shifts focus to a different biome, its unique characteristics and inhabitants are reflected through various permutations of experimental electronic glitch-hop. This culminates in record as cohesive as a drop of water; and as heterogenous as the life within it. A record that, like water, compels you to taste, to touch, to take it with you.
